Appointments

Consultations are by appointment and can be booked in person, by telephone or online via the link at the top of this page.

An appointment will always be given on the same day for medical emergencies.

Practice Nurses

In a number of cases it might be worth considering an appointment with a practice nurse rather than a doctor. Practice nurses are qualified to deal with many conditions and you may be seen more quickly.

Medical Students

We have medical students attached to the practice. You will be asked by the receptionist for your consent to allow a medical student to be present at your consultation with the Doctor. We are also a training practice for registrars (training GP's).

Care at the Chemist

Local chemists in the area offer this service. The pharmacist under the scheme can treat you if you are suffering from minor ailments. If the pharmacist decides that you need treatment for one of the common illnesses, they can prescribe many of the same treatments as your doctor might prescribe. If you do not pay for your prescriptions, you will get your medication free of charge. Ask at reception for more information.

Cancellations

If you cannot attend an appointment for any reason please inform us as soon as possible in order for us to give the slot to someone else.
